Seeking: Part Time Personal Trainer

About US

Ascent Training and Performance is a small, inclusive gym in Concord, New Hampshire, dedicated to helping clients of all fitness levels achieve their goals in a welcoming and supportive environment. We offer personalized programs based on individual movement assessments and goals and provide expert coaching in small group settings. Our mission is to make Fitness For EveryBODY and create a space where everyone feels empowered, focusing on health, strength, and body neutrality rather than aesthetic goals. At Ascent, we pride ourselves on building a strong, positive community that helps people fall in love with fitness in a way that works for them.

After working in the fitness industry at all levels, we realized there was something missing in the traditional gym model. We didn’t like how much of the industry focused on a one size fits all model, with little attention paid to inclusivity or individualized coaching. When we moved to Concord, NH from Boston, we fell in love with the community but felt there wasn’t a gym that combined a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere with the high-level coaching we believe everyone deserves. That’s why we founded Ascent Training and Performance—to create a space where fitness is truly for everyBODY, empowering people to embrace health and strength on their own terms.

About this Opportunity

We are looking for a part time trainer with room to grow into a full time position. You will report directly to the owner/training manager. We are looking for someone willing to start as soon as possible. We’re looking for a personal trainer who not only loves fitness but truly understands the importance of creating a positive, inclusive experience for all clients. The ideal candidate is self-aware, socially skilled, and passionate about helping people of all fitness levels feel welcome and supported. You should be someone who can connect with others, read the room, and create an environment that makes everyone feel comfortable—whether they're new to the gym or seasoned athletes.

At Ascent, we value authenticity and empathy, so we're seeking someone who embodies those qualities. This role is more than just guiding workouts; it's about building relationships, understanding individual needs, and being part of a team that’s on a mission to make fitness for everyBODY. We need someone who’s adaptable, open to learning, and willing to contribute to the positive, inclusive vibe that defines our gym. If you’re passionate about helping people find their strength and feel at home in the gym, this is the place for you!

Our goal is to break down barriers and create a space where everyone feels welcome and capable of reaching their full potential.
